The story of ”Doctor Deo” begun one  day in the fall of -91. The drummer and a former keyboardplayer saw The Commitments, the movie, and was stuck with the music at once. They advertised seekig people with the samefeeling about old soul music, never believing they would get as many answers as they did.
After a beer evening with the 30 most interesting answers, they picked out the top 10 – or was it the ten most crazy individuals – (never knowing they could really play an instrument), and Doctor Deo was borned.
After 20 years, the drummer and the bassplayer/singer are the only ones
left from the original band. But the Doctor has on the other hand never
sounded better. The Doctor has choose to play not only the best soulclassics of the 60´s and 70´s. All of a sudden a song from Terence Trent D´Arby, Huey Lewis and the news or Lenny Kravitz can pop up. As long as the main feeling is SOUL.
….Soulfeeling is what we´re dealing….
